Content Policy

Last updated: 27/07/2026

This page sets out what we will and won't publish on Thailand Stories, separate from our broader editorial policy on accuracy and corrections.

What we publish

Stories about relationships between foreigners and Thai partners: romance, marriage, age-gap relationships, cultural friction, and also financial deception and scams, told honestly rather than for shock value.

What we won't publish

  • Real names, addresses, phone numbers, or other identifying details of anyone involved, without their explicit consent.
  • Content that presents an unverified accusation against a specific, identifiable person as established fact.
  • Sexually explicit content. Our stories can discuss relationships honestly without needing to be graphic.
  • Hate speech or content that demeans people based on nationality, gender, or economic background — including blanket statements that all Thai women or all foreign men behave a certain way.

Submissions

If you send us your story, we may edit it for length and clarity and to remove identifying details, following the same identity-protection standard applied to every other story on the site. We won't publish your submission without reviewing it against this policy first — see our full editorial policy.

No paid placement

We do not accept payment from any person, agency, or brand in exchange for a story's inclusion, framing, or removal.

Reporting a problem

If you believe a published story violates this policy, contact us and we'll review it.
